First you need to know how strong you need your hairspray. If you’re going to be creating complicated styles then you’ll need strong spray, whilst a light hold spray is perfect for smoothing out locks.

The other factor think about is whether yo go for an aerosol or non-aerosol spray. Aerosol is good for easy, standard use but if you’re looking for a wet, slicker look then we recommend going with a non-aerosol option.
